This debate will be interesting to watch. Boeing claims that Airbus receives monetary incentives to help it launch and develop new aircraft (an EXTREMELY costly process). Airbus does get government support, but they don’t waste any time lobbing their own complaints. They say that Boeing receives government subsidies from the U.S. government - just in the form of defense contracts. Hmmm.
