Aeromexico orders two Boeing 787-8s and ten 737-700s

Aeromexico, a Mexican airline, has ordered two more 787-8 Dreamliners and ten Next-Generation 737-700s from Boeing Company (NYSE:BA).
The two 787-8s are expected to be delivered in 2011, with the new 737-700s scheduled for delivery in 2010. The 787-8 has a list price of USD148m to USD158m, while the 737-700s are priced at USD54m to USD64m.
Aeromexico plans to use the twin-aisle 787s and 777s on routes to Asia, Europe and South America, replacing Boeing 767s and providing point-to-point, long-range capability and flexibility to meet changing capacity demands.

Aeromexico has already placed orders for six Next-Generation 737s earlier this year. In addition the carrier recently took delivery of two 777-200ERs, leased from International Lease Finance Corp (ILFC), and will also lease three 787-8s from ILFC, with deliveries starting in 2010.
