Contract for supply-chain solution announced by Boeing and Honeywell
Boeing (NYSE: BA) has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Honeywell Aerospace, a supplier of consumable hardware products and services, that will enable them to reduce an airline’s maintenance costs by providing expendable parts.
Under the terms of the programme Boeing and suppliers such as Honeywell will maintain an airline’s inventory of spare parts, providing items as needed.
The companies teamed as part of Boeing’s Integrated Materials Management (IMM) initiative.
