BAE bought Airbus for prince
Guardian: BAE gave Prince Bandar of Saudi Arabia a £75m airliner as part of al-Yamamah arms deal, and is still paying the expenses of flying it, the Guardian can disclose.

On 1st April 2005, the anniversary of the resumption of flying operations 50 years ago, Lufthansa presented an Airbus A321-100 to the public in a special livery. This Airbus wears the traditional colours of the fifties and will fly in these colours for a few years. The Airbus A321-100 is a stretch variant of the short-to-medium range Airbus A320, but with a higher seating capacity, greater cargo volume and lower operating costs per passenger. The aircraft has room for 182 passengers and a range of 4,200 km. Equipped with two International Aero Engines V2530-A5 type engines, it reaches a cruising speed of 840 km/h.
