SQLSoft+ and FullArmor Partner to Deliver Windows Vista Group Policy Training for IT Professionals

First SQLSoft+/FullArmor Course Offered at Microsoft Management Summit. Arthur D. Collins Jr joins board of Boeing

The board of directors of aircraft manufacturer Boeing Co (NYSE: BA) has elected Arthur D. Collins Jr as a new member of the board, effective immediately.

Collins has also been appointed to the board’s audit and finance committees.

Collins has been CEO of Medtronic Inc since April 2001 and chairman of the company since April 2002. He intends to remain a director and chairman of the board, but in August he will pass on the CEO role to a successor.

Boeing and Azerbaijan Airlines sign order

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2007 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Azerbaijan Airlines have signed an order for three 787-8 Dreamliners and two Next-Generation 737-900ERs (Extended Range).

According to Boeing, Azerbaijan Airlines, based in Baku, Azerbaijan, becomes the first airline throughout the republics of the former Soviet Union to order the 787 and the 737-900ER. The order is valued at USD609m at list prices.

The airline aims to operate the 787 on routes to the east, south-east Asia and North America. The 737-900ERs will be used on routes to Europe, Russia and other regional destinations.

Azerbaijan Airlines selected General Electric GEnx engines to power its 787s.
