Shunra VE Network Simulation solution recognized for outstanding innovation by industry-leading publication.

New York, NY (PRWEB) January 11, 2007 — Shunra announced today that Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC®)s INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine (www.itmag.com) has named Shunra Virtual Enterprise as a recipient of a 2006 Product of the Year Award. INTERNET TELEPHONY has been the VoIP Authority Since 1998″.

“We are honored that Internet Telephony has recognized Shunra VE as its Product of the Year, for the second year in a row. This award, yet again, acknowledges the superiority of Shunras network simulation solutions over competitors products, and reaffirms Shunras leadership of this market place,” said Thomas Charlton, Shunra CEO. “Shunra VE is the only reliable and complete solution available to enterprises and vendors to make informed decisions about the performance of their VoIP platforms over the network throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.”

Shunra VE was also named a Best of Show product at the recent Internet Telephony Conference and Expo West 2006.

Shunra VE provides a comprehensive testing solution for both enterprise users and VoIP vendors. It simulates any production network environment in a pre-deployment lab, providing a powerful, flexible and easy way to test VoIP platform performance and call quality under a wide variety of network impairments. For enterprise users, Shunra VE can be used to accurately evaluate and compare different VoIP vendor solutions under the real-life enterprise network conditions, and even determine call quality at all remote locations. With this information, users can select the most appropriate VoIP solution and make the right infrastructure investments needed to support remote end-users as well as IT and business objectives. For VoIP solution vendors, Shunra VE provides a way to develop, test and optimize their solutions for all possible network conditions and customer environment idiosyncrasies, during product development. Furthermore, it enables vendors to prove exactly how their VoIP solutions will perform across a customers actual network environment, during the pre-sales process.

“INTERNET TELEPHONY is proud to bestow Shunra with a 2006 Product of the Year Award. Each year INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine recognizes companies that have demonstrated excellence in technological advancement and application refinements,” said Rich Tehrani, TMC President and Editor-in-Chief of INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine. “Shunra has proven they are committed to quality and excellence while addressing real needs in the marketplace. Were proud to honor their hard work and accomplishments and look forward to more innovative solutions from them in the future.”
