Aircraft maker Boeing (NYSE: BA) on 16 November said that it has delivered the first Boeing 747-400 Freighter to AirBridgeCargo Airlines, a subsidiary of Volga-Dnepr Group.
The aircraft will be operated under lease from GE Commercial Aviation Services (GECAS).
Boeing also said that the new aircraft is the sixth 747 freighter in the AirBridge fleet and the first of two 747-400 Freighters the company will lease from GE Commercial Aviation Services. The carrier expects to take an additional 747-400F on lease in the second quarter of 2008.
