Apart from some mistaken information that we can find on the net, it is a fact that the only similarity that the Boeing 747 and the Airbus A380 have is the length. The Airbus can carry nearly the double of passengers, has 50% more power, is the first full double decker, and it weights 75% more than its rival from Boeing. In the end, we must agree that being able to place a heavy bird like this in the air is an absolute revolution.
