sweetness asked:

Boeing’s products include:
737
747
767
777
787 (dreamliner)

I am aware that the 747 has 4 engines
What is the difference between 747’s e.g. a 747 400 and a 747 100?

What are the difference between the aircrafts that have just twin engines?

And boeings that are out of production such as 727, 757 etc Do some airline companies still use these, do they still fly?

Thanks

When you enter any Boeing-made commercial airliner, there is a badge showing the Boeing logo, the specific aircraft type and derivative (737-7H4 for a 737-700 sold to Southwest Airlines) and some additional information I can’t recall. I’d like to know what the badge is called, and what all the information means and see an example photo. Can anyone help?

I’m making a blog about Boeing and aviation and I need a really awesome name. The focus of the blog could be about anything from current Boeing news to the company in pop culture, history, etc. I may discuss other companies such as Airbus, but the focus is on Boeing and other companies would be discussed as competitors. Fire away with your ideas!

I’m thinking of travelling to Texas by air. But I was told that the plane is boeing 737. I’ve heard that boeing 737 is the most dangerous plane in the states. But I’m not sure about it yet.
And it’s 737-300

Making a whole plane out of what is basically plastic? Is it a good idea? Plastic is brittle, it can shatter easily. If a normal plane is in a relatively low velocity crash the aircraft can bend and absorb some of the energy. Boeing’s new plane with shatter into a million pieces. Would you fly on one?

Is it public knowledge what a Boeing 747’s body is made out of. If it is, what is it?

I’m collecting mentions of the Boeing company or their products in popular culture. Do you know of any?
