I saw the Boeing 747’s flight deck have two (or maybe more) autopilot disengage switches, one on the top center console and one on the yoke. Why does it need two switches rather than one?

A lot has been said about EADS being a foreign company and building an American aircraft but Boeing aircraft uses parts made in other countries. What percent? Made where?

I need to find out what other countries the Boeing company (the airplane manufacturer) has their production plants for an assignment. I looked on their main website, and it only told me about what is inside the United States. It said it has affiliations with the leaders of other countries, but not if there are any plants in those countries. I would greatly appreciate any help!
