I’ve only seen this request on foreign, ie, non USA based airlines. What airlines have people seen this on? Thanks.
Thats funny, I work for an airline and we don’t require that. In fact, all four of the airlines I’ve flown on didn’t. I also fly on most of the major US airlines, and this doesn’t happen. Is this some kind of an urban myth? Or, perhaps only certain captains request this? The mystery continues.
I mean to say that all for of the airlines I’ve flown FOR do not require this. Strange.

I am trying to find an online travel community that will guide me in planning my trip to Paris (from CA) for my friends wedding. I’m looking for tips on the best flight deals and hotels/hostels–especially for students. If anyone can guide me to a knowledge community that offers travel advise that would be awesome. Also, any opinions on what airlines offer the best deals would be awesome too!! Thank you.

We want to bring our little 6 pound dog with us when we spend a week at our parents during Christmas this year. Does anyone know what airlines let you bring crated pets on board? I tried to google the info but didn’t have any luck.

I’m 13 and i was hoping this summer i could go to Puerto Rico to visit my family, but most airlines I’ve checked don’t allow me
Are there any airlines that have cheap ticket prices and allow 13 year olds to fly by themselves?
Thanks.
I’ve checked Delta, Southwest Airlines, and some other places but it’s just not working out

If I have to schedule a trip on two different airlines, how long should I allow between flights?

Flying one airline from my location to my destination is too expensive, so I have the option to fly the trip on two different airlines, bought separately. How long should I allow between the landing of one flight on one airline and the take-off of the next flight on a different airline from the same airport? Do I need to check in with the other airline in between? Please help… I’ve never flown on two different airlines before on the same trip. Thanks!
