Etihad Airways, an airline based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is reportedly in talks with Boeing for the purchase of the freight version of the 777 aircraft.

The airline said that it is definitely interested in the cargo version of the Boeing 777-200LR and that talks are in progress, with the company currently “looking at the numbers”. Etihad also expressed an interest in the 777-200LR passenger version because the airline is looking at launching direct routes, Reuters reported.
