Air Greenland was founded in 1960. Today it is owned by the Government of Greenland (37.5%), Scandinavian Airlines (37.5%) and the Danish State (25%). The airline uses the Airbus A330-200 and Boeing 757-200 for scheduled flights to Scandinavia as well as on charter flights around Europe. Air Greenland operates an extended domestic network with the Dash 7 and helicopters.
