No orders received for passenger version of larger Boeing 747 - report
Boeing has reported that it has not yet received any orders for the passenger version of its larger and more fuel-efficient 747 aircraft.
Jeff Peace, vice president and manager of the programme, has stated that he is not worried by the lack of orders and expects orders for the so-called “Intercontinental” passenger aircraft to come soon.
According to The Associated Press, Boeing has so far received orders for 18 of the 747-8 freighters from two cargo carriers.
