SEA Chairman, Michael Beason, announces changes to the Supplier Excellence Alliance Authorized Service Provider Program.

Irvine, CA (PRWEB) November 16, 2005 — Michael Beason, Chairman of the Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) announced a new, expanded agreement for Authorized Service Providers throughout the U.S.

These changes should make service providers very happy and will certainly help SEA to accelerate its outreach to small and mid-sized suppliers across the nation, notes Beason. SEAs support of its Authorized Service Provider Program has become stronger than ever, adds Beason.

The SEA Authorized Service Provider Program (ASP) supports the national deployment of the SEA Lean Enterprise System the standard business system for companies serving the aerospace, defense and space industry. The Lean Enterprise System has been adopted by SEA member companies — the leading industry primes, tier-one suppliers and other supplier firms.

Authorized Service Providers are consulting firms and independent consultants that focus on the aerospace, defense and space industries. ASPs must complete a rigorous certification process in order implement one or more of the three tracks of the Lean Enterprise System and ensure the high standards SEA has established for its delivery system.

SEA ASP certification allows certified consultants to integrate the industry standard model into their existing practice, expand their scope of work and gain national recognition for their support of the industry.

Key changes in the Authorized Service Provider program announced today provide for:

1. Expanded freedom for Authorized Service Providers to contract directly with supplier firms

2. Direct contracting with suppliers, using their own pricing structure for services
