What would be the process of going from flying Boeing to Airbus?

Genuine answers please :)?
I am 27, fly 737 but have spoken to pilots who fly Airbus A380 and I’ve also being in the flight deck of one and I think it is at the very top of every plane ever made.

I am willing to move long distance if needs be, even move coutry, if I was able to become an A380 pilot.

What would be the process starting from now?

      Hmm… you might be hard pressed for answers here.

      Basically you need to a very senior pilot at a company that flies the A380. So you would likely have to move to a country, whose national carrier flies the A380. Then you’d have to get citizenship, transfer of proper pilot licensing, then get hired. Once hired, you would have to stay there for the rest of your life and hope that at 27 you were hired early enough that you will become senior enough to make it to the A380 before being forced into retirement at 60 (or 65 depending on the company).

      I’m sure you will find that by the time you get there, you won’t be so excited about it. At that time, to you, it will be ‘just another plane’.

      For other aircraft so that will be very similar to be tapped to when you got your type rating to fly the process involved it would be new.

      The type of plane you should shoot for an airline solely based on the process is just another airplane just little bigger.
      An a380 thats what you would fly it doesnt matter if its beech 1900 or.
